This easy-to-use web site helps you find the closest Quaker meeting. It attempts to include all of the meetings whose worship is based in silence that are in the U.S. and Canada. It does not include most of the Quaker churches with pastors and services more like other Protestant churches. You can find these on the web under Friends United Meeting at http://www.fum.org/and Evangelical Friends Church International at http://www.evangelicalfriends.org. Quaker Organizations Broadmead Meeting Belongs ToLake Erie Yearly Meeting (LEYM)
The regional organization Broadmead Monthly Meeting is part of.
LEYM includes meetings in Michigan, Ohio, and western Pennsylvania. Traditionally, a yearly meeting
gathers once a year for business and fellowship.
Friends General Conference (FGC)
A service organization for its members in the United States and
Canada. Services include materials for Sunday School and adult
education and a Quaker bookstore. Lots of good stuff on their web
site.

(FCNL) A Quaker lobbying organization based in Washington,
DC.
American Friends Service Committee
(AFSC) North American organization that works for peace and
social justice in local communities and provides relief to those
who are suffering around the world.
Quaker Earthcare Witness
(QEW) An organization dedicated to helping Friends and others
be good stewards of God's creation by living in ways that are
ecologically sustainable.
Friends World Committee on
Consultation (FWCC) An organization that fosters dialogue and
cooperation between different branches of Quakers
worldwide.
Other Organizations Members of Broadmead Meeting Participate InChristian Peacemaker Teams Sends small
groups of pacifists to act as witnesses and human buffers between
people in conflict in various hot spots of the world.
Fellowship of Reconciliation The
oldest and largest interfaith peace and justice organization in
the United States. It was founded by the three historical peace
churches in America: Mennonites, Church of the Brethren, and
Quakers.
